The Transivent is a self-regulating, thermally broken ventilation louvre in an attractive design, for mounting in a traditional roller shutter housing.
A top-quality plastic mullion acts as thermal insulation, ensures maximum air supply and distribution, and also acts as an insect screen. The plastic mullion has a series of 2.9 x 30 mm perforations.
It also houses a unique, self-regulating flap with a double mechanism: a hinge point and a fold point This method provides a better response time, making the unit comply with self-regulation class P3. The flap is self-regulating and cannot be controlled by the user.
The airflow is regulated by means of an aluminium flap on the inside. When open, it deflects the airflow upwards to prevent direct draughts.
Plastic foam on the inside of this flap seals the unit against water and wind, while providing excellent noise insulation. The flap has 5 positions.
